“This strategic partnership with GoWild allows us to share our experiences with a new group of outdoor enthusiasts and provides a community-based way for customers to engage post-ride.” — Gray Rentz, Polaris Adventures Director

Polaris’ network of ride and drive experiences, Polaris Adventures, has quickly scaled to include more than 125 adventure Outfitters across the country. As the program expands upon its vision of bringing the outdoors to a broader audience, Polaris Adventures is launching a strategic partnership with GoWild, a technology platform and app for outdoor enthusiasts. The brand alignment empowers Polaris Adventures’ expansion with data-driven insights and niche-targeted marketing and expands GoWild’s reach to a new audience.

“Polaris Adventures is focused on providing premium ride and drive experiences for families, couples and adventure seekers alike,” said Polaris Adventures Director Gray Rentz. “This strategic partnership with GoWild allows us to share our experiences with a new group of outdoor enthusiasts and provides a community-based way for customers to engage post-ride.”

Members of the GoWild community use the app to track and share outdoor activities, including fishing, hunting, hiking, camping and more, providing GoWild a rich understanding of this audience. In addition to marketing efforts, GoWild will use its anonymized data to share industry analytics and insights with Polaris Adventures.

“The more GoWild members use the app, the more we understand the community,” said GoWild Co-founder, CEO, Brad Luttrell. “Using our analytics to help Polaris Adventures connect with new customers, and learn from what excites outdoors enthusiasts overall is the best commercial application of our platform yet.”

Build Your Adventure Sweepstakes ($4,500 Value)

To kick off the partnership, Polaris Adventures and GoWild are hosting a sweepstakes, which allows the GoWild community to first vote on the Polaris Adventures prize location. Once the location is chosen, the entry period opens for a chance to win an all-expense-paid trip to the region of the community’s choice. Location options are Zion National Park, Rocky Mountains, Appalachian Mountains, Hawaii and Alaska.

The Build Your Adventure Sweepstakes launches Nov. 10, 2019. Once voting has ended, a randomly selected person will win a $500 voucher to a Polaris Adventures location during this round. The contest then opens for entries, and the winner of the final round gets an all-expense-paid trip for two to the location chosen by the community in round one, a $4,500 value.

This is a great partnership, will open so many doors for both to help each other and offer more. To me this is a great opportunity, since my wife and I love both.

Tracking outdoor activities is incredibly fun and rewarding. You already knew you worked hard—you could feel the burn. But how cool is it to know you also climbed 2,100 feet of elevation, your max heart rate was 183, max ambient air temperature was 84º, your average cadence was 37 strides per minute and the total distance was 8.1 miles?

Microwaving Your Wild Game Meat

When thinking of how to prepare wild game I often think of the iconic scene from Forrest Gump where Bubba is explaining all the methods to prepare shrimp… fried shrimp, shrimp kabobs, shrimp gumbo, etc. Venison and most game meats are highly versatile, and are consumed in countless dishes and cuisines from around the world. You may now be thinking, “Fried deer, elk burgers, goose kabobs”… the list goes on forever. Each wild meal I prepare is a chance to extract the most out of whatever cut of meat I am preparing, combining those rich flavors with quality, seasonal ingredients to create a mouthwatering and delicious meal for my family and friends.

2020 has been a year of uncertainty, but one thing remains true: Dad’s are awesome. And if your old man ever deserved a patriarchal offering, it’s amid a pandemic. Who else can break the tension of quarantine with a one-liner better than the old man himself? No one, that’s who. Here are my suggestions for the old man, as it relates to hunting, fishing and that grand ol’ dad hobby, barbecuing.
