First Lite Announces Partnership with GoWild

KETCHUM, Idaho—First Lite has a new trick up its merino wool sleeve for 2019. The outdoor clothing manufacturer is betting on niche, experiential marketing with a new partnership with GoWild, a social media and activity tracking platform built for hunters, anglers and outdoors enthusiasts.

“The GoWild community has grown more than 50% since we met them nine months ago,” said Ross Copperman, the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “That kind of traction with hardcore hunters caught our attention, and as we expand our marketing efforts, GoWild’s unique functionality make the platform a great fit for the First Lite brand.”

Among that custom outdoor functionality is activity tracking for archery, hiking, scouting, hunting and others, wild game recipe integration, wearable compatibility and more. As First Lite’s gear is built for the highly active, the two company’s audiences have a lot in common.

The relationship goes beyond an advertising deal—this is a chance for GoWild to partner with a thought leader and provide valuable knowledge for the community. Starting this summer, team First Lite will contribute written content to help GoWild’s community of hunters, anglers and hikers better prepare for the outdoors.
