Clint’s most memorable hunt is a backcountry solo hunt above treeline in Colorado. The high country is not only remote in distance, but also in elevation. Hunters that venture here often spend months planning and preparing in all things from logistics and fitness. Hunting in these locations, especially solo, are not known to be explicitly safe. Safety planning is a huge component. Additionally, what you can take with you is highly scrutinized; sometimes referred to as "counting ounces."
